The first public test run of the interactive lift of the Serpukhov plant will take place during the exhibition ‘Lift Expo. Moscow-2024’

Serpukhov Lift Plant (SLZ, part of Garden Ring Group) has completed the assembly of two models of lifts with interactive capabilities for demonstration at the international exhibition ‘Lift Expo. Moscow-2024’. SLZ exposition will be placed at stand D5, Hall 3, Pavilion 1 of IEC Crocus Expo.

The first model ‘Art-Symphony’ of the category ‘SLZ Exclusive’ with a capacity of 1000 kg has been manufactured and already installed in the lift shaft directly on the industrial site of the plant. At ‘Lift Expo. Moscow-2024’ it will pass the first run-in on the public. For this purpose, a shaft for lifts without a machine room was designed and installed at the plant. At the exhibition it will provide the movement of passengers to the second level and descent to the first.

The walls of the cabin are made of wood veneer (tint colour is ‘walnut’), it is equipped with a video camera, OLED screens under the mirror and glass panels, and an order column made of tinted black glass. In September 2024, this model won the national award ‘Best Industrial Design-2024’.

Another conceptual version of the ‘Art-Symphony’ at the exhibition is a 1000kg capacity cabin. The design of the compartment shows the designers' desire to combine monumentality, which symbolises reliability, firmness and creation, with high-tech style and interactive possibilities of the lift. The walls are clad in relief natural stone (dark slate). Lighting: vertical LED lighting that changes colour palette depending on the architecture of the building and the needs of users. Interactive mirror and order panel: black polished glass with mirror spraying. Floor covering - grey relief porcelain stoneware, suspended, soaring ceiling - mirrored stainless steel under bronze.

The project ‘Interactive Lift’ was developed by Artemy Lebedev Studio and implemented at a factory near Moscow. SLZ models of exclusive and premium segment promise to become an example of comfortable, reliable and safe lift equipment of the near future.

SLZ team at the exhibition ‘Lift Expo. Moscow-2024’ will certainly pay attention to the problem of renewal of the lift park of the country. Specially for the state programmes of apartment buildings overhaul the designers of the plant created the lift ‘SLZ ECO’. Its improved version is also in the exposition of the plant. The peculiarity of the cabin is stainless steel inserts between the wall panels. This is a stylish and functional solution that gives the interior an elegant and modern look. At the same time, it is not costly.

SLZ will also demonstrate the first results of production localisation - the most demanded in the lift market UEL control station, as well as door drives and beams, the production of which has been mastered at the Serpukhov plant. In addition, a demonstration of a gearless winch for high-speed and high-speed lifts is expected, the development of which was started at the plant near Moscow.
