The interactive lift from the Serpukhov Plant is set to be a major attraction at the forthcoming "Lift Expo. Moscow" exhibition

Serpukhov Elevator Plant (SLZ, part of Garden Ring Group) will be showcasing a working cabin of an interactive lift at the international exhibition 'Lift Expo. Moscow' from 9-11 October 2024. The SLZ stand will be located at D5 on the central aisle of Pavilion 1 at Crocus Expo IEC (Krasnogorsk, Moscow Region, International Street, 18).

The 'Art-Symphony' model, part of the 'SLZ Exclusive' category, has already been manufactured and is ready for delivery to the leading platform for showcasing the latest trends in the lift industry, networking with potential partners and finalising trade contracts. The cabin is fully operational and has been designed to accommodate passenger movement to the ground floor and descent to the ground floor. The lift shaft has been constructed without a machine room.

The project, entitled 'Interactive Lift', was developed by Artemy Lebedev Studio and subsequently implemented at a factory located in the vicinity of Moscow. This is the inaugural development of next-generation lift equipment, which is controlled on the basis of Internet of Things (IoT) and artificial intelligence technologies. The cabin walls are constructed from wooden veneer (tinted walnut colour), and the interior features a video camera, OLED screens positioned beneath the mirror and glass panels, and an order column crafted from tinted black glass.

The following smart features are available:

- Smartphone control

- Interactive mirror (direction of travel, floor indication, weather reports, road situation, public transport schedules, stock exchange quotes, etc.)

- Communication options that create a favourable atmosphere in the lift.

The cabin lighting is designed to adapt to the architectural style of the building and the needs of the users, while also serving as an additional navigation aid. For instance, in business centres, the lighting can be adjusted to match the corporate colours of the company whose floor the employee or visitor is heading to.

In addition to premium class cabins, SLZ will present serial manufactured models, namely the 'SLZ Business' and 'SLZ ECO+', as well as control stations, drives and door beams. The production of this equipment is organised at the plant as part of an import substitution programme. Another noteworthy item on display at the plant booth is a gearless winch for high-speed and high-rise lifts.
